Sports Events and Stadiums
In 2002, Thomas Kinkade was honored to paint the stadiums of the Anaheim Angels and the San Francisco Giants during the World Series. Since then Thom has signed a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball to paint a couple more famous stadiums. He was able to paint the historic Yankee Stadium and then painted Fenway Park during the American League Championship Series in 2007. In 2010 he painted the World Series Champion Giants on the field at ATT Park.
NASCAR is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and Thom was asked to paint NASCAR Thunder for the 50th anniversary of the Daytona 500. One year later he was asked to paint the Indianapolis Speedway in what was titled "Indy Excitement."
